I'm getting certain repeating errors in Event Viewer when I reboot my new Win Pro 64-bit (after yesterday's upgrade from Win 8.1 Pro 64-bit). Please see the details and post your thoughts here:

There is a link in the Windows EightForums, where the procedure is offered to solve 10016 errors.

(thread: Numerous event id 10016 errors win 8 pro 64 bit)

Solved - Numerous event id 10016 errors win 8 pro 64 bit

I have followed that procedure and the errors for a few CLSID and APPID stopped.

The errors for CLSID {C2F03A33-21F5-47FA-B4BB-156362A2F239} and APPID {316CDED5-E4AE-4B15-9113-7055D84DCC97}, those I didn't manage to solve though.

What version of 10 are you running? Are you using the RTM 10240?

essenbe - seems to be so. The version that everyone got yesterday for the big upgrade.

What were you running before and what method did you use to upgrade it? I really wouldn't think you should be having any issues with your Intel Network adapter. Do you know which chipset you have? I noticed in your system specs you seemed to be unsure. Technically, it could be a 67, 68, or 77 chipset. I'm not that up on laptops but CPU/board/chipset I'm pretty sure they follow desktop boards. I have an X99 chipset, but I also have a Z77 rig and they both updated with no problems. Yours should be the same. Did it tell you before the upgrade it was going to be a problem? What other problems are you having with it? Dell is notorious for altering their drivers so that you have to go to them to get the drivers. Before they started coming out with the Windows 10 drivers, I used windows 8/8.1 drivers and they worked fine for me. I'm really wondering if you just got a bad download.
