Windows 10: Replace ico file doesn't change

Hi, when I replace an ico file that i'm using to custom a folder icon and replace this ico file with another ico file with the same name, the file doesn't change and remains the old ico file, even if i delete this first and then place the new one in the same directory as the old one.It's just the preview mode, because if I click the ico i see the new one.

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community.

I suggest you to follow the steps below on how to change a picture to.ico format and check if this helps. Follow the steps below to do the same:

• Select the image\picture you want to convert into .ico.
• Now resize the image to 32x32 using Paint or Photo Gallery.
• Save the file and just rename it to with an .ico extension and also select 24bit bitmap.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

i ve tried everything:with atiflash from dos,winflash.step by step with bios powercolor hd 6970 from the database.
nothing,doesn´t work.any suggestion????
