  1. Replaced motherboard now can’t login

Hi, I’ve recently built a new pc and installed windows 11 on it with license key. I’ve just swapped my motherboard as an upgrade, have reinserted the same memory ram and hard drives etc all the same except MB i get to the main login screen on start up, originally said to reset my pin no option to put pin or password in but wasn’t able to connect to the Ethernet this was solved by having a usb to Ethernet adaptor, as the lan drivers aren’t installed yet on the new MBThis get me to the reset pin page, where it says it sent a code to an email address and to enter that code to rest, however

    :)

  3. Choice of memory and motherboard... a bit stuck...

No one who got some suggestions on this one, huh?

I've found out that the Asus M3A78-T needs to be flashed, so then that motherboard is excluded from my list. Which motherboard and memory should I then go for? Any suggestions?

    replacing motherboard

    Hi green5178,

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

If you need to replace you motherboard, you should decrypt the drive and also remove you PIN login, both those are related to the TPM chip on the motherboard, there is no need to remove your password, if you login with a Microsoft Account, that is linked to your Microsoft Account online, not TPM.
