where to get replacement dongle for microsoft wireless keyboard 3050

the title pretty much says it all but i found a microsoft wireless keyboard 3050 in my house somewhere and it looks nice but a problem i have is i don't have the dongle for it

is it possible to buy a replacement one or do i have to throw out the keyboard

im not sure what product to select for this issue so i just put it under windows

I have a Microsoft Wireless 850 Desktop (keyboard and mouse) and unfortunately the USB dongle got broken.

Is it possible to order a replacement part that will work with the existing devices without buying a totally new set?

Unfortunately all bluetooth keyboards/mices are paired with their own dongles. So if you lose the dongle piece, there's no way to replace it. This is not limited to Microsoft brand only, it is true for others as well. I am sorry.

If you ever get new wireless keyboard or mouse, get those that have bluetooth capacity without needing the USB dongle. Those connect directly to your computer's bluetooth. This way you don't have to worry about losing the dongle.
