Replacing Corrupt .mui files in Sys32

I've had file corruption problems from day 1 with this new Win 10pc. Using scannow the latest bunch are in Sys32\en-US. RunningDISM produced no change. Anyway, I have some "clean" copies of these files, but even fiddling withAdministrator Privileges, I can't get Windows to accept the replacements. There is a lot of conflicting information on theWeb: can anyone please suggest a Quick-Fix?

    :)

  2. Corrupted file RAR

If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:
    • Open WinRAR application in your system.
    • Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
    • A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
    • Now click Open button.
    • Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
    • Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
    • Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
    • Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
    • WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.
I hope the above steps will help you repair the corrupted RAR archive.

    Thanks.

  3. Replacing corrupt files

    Hello,

Error: 0x800f081f can occur when an alternative installation source is specified and one of the following conditions is true:

    • The location that is specified by the path does not contain the files that are required to install the feature.
    • The user who tries to install the feature does not have at least READ access to the location and to the files.
    • The set of installation files is corrupted, incomplete, or invalid for the version of Windows that you are running.

To fix this problem, make sure that the full path of the source is correct (x:\sources\sxs) and that you have at least Read access to the location. To do this, try to access the source directly from the affected computer. Verify that the installation source
contains a valid and complete set of files. If the problem persists, try to use a different installation source.

To resolve the issue, kindly follow the steps below.

    • Download the Windows Media Creation tool, and create an ISO image locally, or create an image for the version of Windows that you have installed.
    • Configure the Group Policy as in Method 2, but also follow these steps:
      • Mount the ISO image that's created in step 1.
      • Point the Alternate source file path to the ISO sources\sxs folder from the ISO.
      • Run the gpupdate /force command.
      • Add the .Net framework feature.

Check if that resolves the issue.

Your response to the solution will be highly appreciated.
