Windows 10: Replicating PC screen to other devices

I've ordered a mini PC (gigabyte brix) to use on our home living room TV. Just for easy access to Windows. Since ditching laptops for iOS tablets a long time ago we've kind of missed the ease of a Windows machine in the living room (my gaming desktop is upstairs and not exactly family friendly). So I'm going to HDMI it to the tv but I thought of connecting it to a HDMI splitter so we can can hardwire it to a second monitor. The reason being just in case someone is using the main tv in household but someone else wants to use the mini PC. Okay I know a new laptop would of been a good idea but I'm very pleased with the mini PC price I found.

It'll mainly be on the main tv when used. However I would like to split the HDMI signal so maybe we can use it via our iPad when needed. The iPad just intended purely as a monitor and not for keyboard or mouse input as we will use the Bluetooth ones synced to the mini PC. We are totally happy for a hard wired connection. Not really into wifi casting etc. So does anybody know the best way to achieve this? I know I could buy an additional small HDMI monitor but budget is tight so the option to use existing hardware is preferable.

Control Nokia 5530 from PC

I use an application that links my Windows Mobile device to my desktop and replicates the device screen on the PC and gives me control of my device from the PC. I seek a similar application that can help me control my 5530 from the desk top. Please help.

I think your trying to make it harder than it is before trying. Its plug and play. Those mini pcs are made to be used with different monitors. You don't need an extra driver or anything. From what I know in the past I think a HDMI switcher is better option than a splitter. A switcher switches the HDMI to TV1 or TV2 depending on who uses it. A splitter is designed for 2 tvs/monitors at the same time. So depending on what you want don't confuse the 2. Just plug the cords in just like you bought a new tv and go about your day.
