    Reposted because got no solution since 26 Dec! System crashes and gives STOP CODE ERROR...


    Every time I close and reopen any browser it says “Browser failed to close correctly, restore?” Much worse: on every attempt to run any video conferencing app, Win10 crashes BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH and gives this error message: "SPUVCbv". It instructs me that it will restart - quickly does so, but then instructs me to visit www.microsoft.com/stopcode, however this results in "unavailable". We then go round a short loop requiring: re-entry of screen password, normal operation for most functions, but CRASH AGAIN at the same point. All Windows 10 updates are installed, and the system claims to be functioning correctly. Clean reboot performed to no avail.

    • Windows 10 v 20H2 OS Build 19042.685
    • Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon
    • No changes made to the build since acquisition a year ago.

    Many stop code errors!

    Hi

    I'm finding that my computer is crashing a lot. I've been recording the stop codes and the list includes at least the following:

    IRQL_NOT_LESS_THAN EQUAL

    SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

    PAGE_FAULT_IN_...

    MEMORAY_MANAGEMENT

    KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED

    I know that this is quite a collection but does it suggest any common theme or cause?

    Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

    That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

    I suggest Option 1 is easier.

    If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
