Windows 10: Request assistance with Windows 10 Issue.

I'm Mohammad, I was really looking forward to someone who could help me. I will be as polite and co-operative as you want me to be if you could just PLEASE help me out with my issue.


I want you to know that its the first time I purchased my own laptop and Microsoft RUINED MY EXPERIENCE , I did not even get an opportunity to transfer Data because of the heavy lag and unable to run even single application smoothly. I remember that, in my fourth grade, Windows XP with Pentium 4 was a lot faster.


Mentioning a few details of my laptop and current version of Windows,


Microsoft Windows


Version 1903 OS Build 18362.592

Laptop Serial Number: CND9388XFK




I've been facing an absolutely ridiculous amount of system lag since I last updated my windows 10.


I tried contacting the Microsoft customer service. They took remote access of my system one and a half or two hours and tried resolving . Issue remains unresolved


I'm Ready to revert back to which ever version was working fine before the last update.


Greg, I would really appreciate if you could help me out. Even if the Windows 10 update Issue isn't resolved I would like to consider reverting to the previous version, or, which ever version is best suited for my laptop.



I request you to please help me.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK

a request for device descriptor request failed


Maybe it's time to step back from the current efforts, and start over. I suggest you read over this excellent tutorial and try all of its steps: [Solved] Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) for Windows 10 - Driver Easy. The one that may provide you with some easy relief is the one where you uninstall the device whose descriptor is failing, reboot, and see what happens when device enumeration recurs during boot-up. If you're lucky, it will fix itself.

New install Windows 10 (issue solved)

It's good that you're not experiencing any issues. Unfortunately many folks are, a quick Google search will show the same info im offering the OP.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
