Windows 10: Request for Localized Screen Reader Voices in Windows 11 Setup

Dear Microsoft Community and Windows Development Team, I would like to bring attention to an accessibility issue in the Windows 11 installation process. Currently, the screen reader functionality during the setup screen works as expected, which is commendable. However, it only provides an English voice, regardless of the language selected for the installation. While the screen reader supports multiple languages, including Turkish, after Windows is fully installed, this functionality is not available during the setup phase. This creates a significant accessibility barrier for non-English-speaki

Adobe Reader in Windows 10

Thank you for posting on Microsoft Community. I understand the inconvenience you are facing. I will certainly help you with this.

I suggest you to try uninstalling reinstalling Adobe reader and check if issue is resolved to do so kindly follow the below given steps and heck if it works:

• Press Windows key + X key, and then tap or click Control Panel.
• Under View by, select Large Icons, and then tap or click
  Programs and features.
• Tap or click the Adobe reader program, and then tap or click Uninstall.
• Follow the instructions on the screen.

Now re-install the Adobe reader and check if the issue is resolved. To re-install download the latest Adobe reader setup file from the Adobe website and install it.

Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are

• Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
• No Internet connection during the install
• static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)

 

where is the windows 10 Reader App

• Press ‘Windows’ key on the keyboard.
• In the search box, type ‘Reader’, and press enter.
  
• Click on Reader App and it will be launched.
