    Dear Microsoft Support Team, We are reaching out to request the addition of the Karakalpak language to the keyboard layout of Windows 10 and Windows 11. Currently, our users face challenges due to the absence of native support for the Karakalpak language, leading to inconveniences in their user experience. Our users resort to third-party programs and tools to install the Karakalpak keyboard layout. However, this process is not always smooth, and many individuals find it difficult to configure their systems independently. We have included files created using the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Cre

    This suggests to me that you are using the wrong "keyboard language" for your keyboard, and that therefore you first step would be to determine exactly what language keyboard you have. Possibly have a look at Windows Keyboard Layouts - Globalization | Microsoft Docs.

    (The age of any laptop capable of running Windows 10 at all should not be a problem as regards keyboard layout)

    Hi Panupong,

    The updated Windows 10 may have detected your language, the reason why it automatically gave you the other Thai US keyboard. To correct this issue, we suggest that you follow these steps:

    • Click on the Start Menu, type in region and language settings and select it.
    • Under Languages, select Thai Kedmanee keyboard and click Remove.
    • Lastly, add it back by clicking Add a language.

    After these steps, your keyboard layout will permanently stay with Thai Kedmanee keyboard.

    Let us know if the steps above resolved your issue.

    Custom Keyboard Layouts in Windows 11

    A wonderful day everyone,

    Previously I have used the Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator to create custom keyboard layouts, however not only is Windows 11 not listed as a supported operating system, but I cannot use the installed keyboards as they get shrugged off as "Unavailable input method" and are also unselectable as they break the taskbar language button in strange ways.

    Does anyone have a suggestion as to how one can create a functioning keyboard layout for Windows 11? It'd be much appreciated.
