  1. Request to Add Options for Auto-Displaying Candidate Word Box and Customizable Input Mode...

Currently, the Japanese IME in Windows 11 requires pressing the Tab key twice to display the candidate word box and then again to select a candidate from the list. This process feels unnecessarily cumbersome and is a significant inconvenience. I propose adding the following options: Auto-display of candidate word box: When these options are enabled, the candidate word box should automatically appear when typing, without needing to press Tab. Once displayed, users should be able to select a word directly by pressing the corresponding number key 1, 2, 3, etc., without needing to press Tab ag

  4. Request to Add Options for Auto-Displaying Candidate Word Box and Customizable Input Mode...

How do I use Chinese Traditional inputs with pinyin while using the vertical candidate selection window?

Hello! My name is Mostafa, and I will try my best to assist you with this so that you find a satisfactory solution.

I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue. You need to adjust your keyboard input settings to use Chinese Traditional inputs.

    Please follow the steps below:

    1. Go to your tablet's settings and look for the "Language & Input" or "Language & Keyboard" option. Depending on the brand and model of your tablet, the exact wording of this option may vary.

    2. Look for the option to add or change keyboard input methods. You should see a list of available input methods, including both pinyin and Bopomofo.

    3. Select the pinyin input method and make sure it is set to Traditional Chinese. You may also need to enable the option to use Chinese punctuation marks if it is not already enabled.

    4. Look for the option to change the candidate selection window from horizontal to vertical. This option may be labeled "Display settings" or "Candidate settings." Once you find it, select the vertical option.

    5. Test the new settings by opening a text editor or messaging app and typing in some Chinese text. You should see the pinyin input method and vertical candidate selection window in action.

I hope the above steps helped you. In case of additional questions, reach out back to me, and I will be happy to help and try my best to resolve your issue. Thank you.

    Best,

    Mostafa
