Instead of simply asking Yes/No, there should be a third option to save with an automatic 1, 2, 3 etc. added to the end of the filename, exactly like how Windows automatically does in other instances. In other words, it would just be taking something that Windows already does and applying it elsewhere, as a quality of life feature. This quality of life feature would save photo editors like myself a lot of time e.g. various saved edits of the same photo. For the everyday user who just wants to save a file without caring about the filename, but who doesn't want to accidentally erase anyt

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

Download CCcleaner from here...........

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

 

Default file extension - cannot save file name as .php in notepad.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to save the WordPad and check if it helps.

1. Open the “WordPad”, click on “File”.

2. Click on “Save as”, under file name enter the name abc.php.

3. Under “Save as type” select as “All files”.

4. Click on “Save” and check.
