  1. Require help to check Windows Performance Analyzer Logs

    First of all i am sorry for my english sometimes it can be non understandable.I am trying to improve. Yesterday i installed my pc drivers via driverpack. However after the installation my computer started booting really slow. Before the installation it takes max. 40 seconds to boot but after the installation it takes like 4 to 5 minutes. Then i installed Windows Performance Analyzer to fix that situation and i tried to analyze my own logs but i feel kinda lost in it So basically i require help to find which program or system file cause that situation. there is the link of the .etl file : boot_1.etl - Google Drive OS Build 15063.540

    :)

    Windows Performance Analyzer question

    Hi, if you search tenforums for WPA or Windows Performance Analyzer you will find various threads where examples exist of its settings and screenshots.

    Only @zinou is familiar with this as far as I know.

    I also searched for

    Windows Performance Analyzer guide

    for you.

    Win10 Slow boot time. Help debug with Windows Performance Analyzer

    Hi,

    I think that the issue is caused by the "Generic HDD SCSI Disk Device" driver

    Require help to check Windows Performance Analyzer Logs [IMG]

    you have 8 disk drive attached to your computer:
    1. Samsung SSD 860 EVO 500GB
    2. Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB
    3. ST4000DM004-2CV104
    4. TOSHIBA DT01ACA200
    5. WDC WD20EARX-008FB0
    6. Generic HDD SCSI Disk Device
    7. Seagate BUP BK SCSI Disk Device
    8. Kingston DT Elite G2 USB Device

    I would suggest you uninstall the Generic driver from the device manager;
    • Open device manager and display the hidden devices;
    • Generic "HDD SCSI Disk Device" under disk driver and uninstall it.

    Windows 10 Slow Boot Time, require help to check Windows Performance Analyzer Logs

    I recently migrated (cloned) Windows 10 from a SSD to a M.2 PCIe SSD. Everything works and runs fine, but I realized Windows requires ~85 to 115 Seconds to boot.
    I'm not sure if it takes so long only since migration or if it already did before as I used to mostly use Wake-on-Lan to start the PC minutes before I went to the PC and therefor didn't care.
    However, I spent most of the day trying to find my way through Windows Performance Analyzer-Logs for the reason of the long boot time, but by now I kind of feel lost in it.
    On my research I found similar threads on superuser.com and I hope someone more expierenced could take a look into my issue as well and/or is willing to explain me how to track down the issue myself.
