  1. Requires many minutes to Boot Up

I upgraded to Win 10 about 8-9 months ago. Everything worked wonderful. About 3 months ago, Win 10 became so unstable that I had to reformat the HD and reinstall Win 10. After updates, everything worked wonderful. Now, just within the last 3-4 weeks, it takes 5-10 minutes to boot up the machine. *Sad
Once it boots, it seems to work fine. If I leave the computer on and it goes to sleep, when I come back, it will take 5-10 minutes to come back to life (what I mean by this is that the screen will light up, I get the DELL logo and it just stays that way until some undetermined time is completed and then I get the Windows logo and it comes back to my desktop. About 75% of the time, after the 5-10 minutes, I get a message something like this: 'The computer has run into a problem and needs to be restarted. Data is now being collected to send to MS.' Then the computer will go into the restart and I will have to wait another 5-10 minutes. My background data will show the type of machine etc.
    Any suggestions? *Smile

N95 - start up takes many minutes

When I turn my phone N95 on, it takes many minutes before the phone is ready.

After the PIN-code there is no start-up-tone and "shaking hands".

I have installed a lot of programs, like maps, shake and rotatete (ShakeSMS, rotateMe, FlipSilent, Nokmote, ShakeLock and VibrateCall) and many, many more.

After starting up, the phone and all programs works ok.

If I start up the phone without memory card, the start up session is "normal".

N95 - start up takes many minutes

    Thank you.

After uninstall and than reinstall Windows Live, the start up is normal.

Windows Live did make some trouble before. I don`t know why. I had to uninstall and reinstall it, and the phone was normal again.

Requires many minutes to Boot Up

Hi, please download and run Crystal Diskinfo (free/install/portable) and post the single screenshot of the main GUI which will give a clear Good/Caution/Bad indication based on your SMART parameters.

    If it reports Good, then
    From an admin command prompt
[Windows key + X, click command prompt (admin)]
    chkdsk C: /F
Your PC will need to restart.
Make sure the result is clear or fixed- else do not proceed.
Post back the result, which you can get after a restart as follows:

    If no problems are reported
download and run Bluescreenview (free) and advise what it reports as a quick view of possible BSODs.

  5. Hello dalchina. I ran Crystal Diskinfo and it said Good. Ran chkdskC:/F and found no problems to fix. In the process, trying to boot in 'safe mode' (which I never found) I ran across a Diagnostic program from Dell. I ran it full, took about 2.5 hours and it found nothing. I ran Bluescreenview and it indicated that I had 9 crashes back and forth between "Critical Process Died" and Kernel Data Inpage error." Critical Prosess caused by "mtoskrnl.exe" and Kernel Data caused by "srv2.sys."
    Here is screen shot.

  6. I did not give you the results. Sorry, I wanted to see if I really could post the screen shot.
The results are, "no change." There seemed to be a fix early on as I could turn off and wait 15-30 seconds and then turn back on and it would boot in about 30 seconds. I did that several times and it continued to work. However, this afternoon I left it on for about 4 hours and when I came back to "wake it up" it ran for about 4 minutes then I got the message something was wrong, gathered information and it turned off and began to boot up. That total process took 11 minutes and 13 seconds. Dan
