    Reselling used laptops on Ebay, do I need to buy a refurbished license.


    About 10 years ago Microsoft informed me that if I am reselling used PC's or Laptops, I would need to purchase a "Windows refurbished" license if I was to sell them with an OS installed. I know that the newer laptops have the license embedded in the hardware, but I am concerned that MS will come after me again if I don't have the refurbished license. Is this still the case? I do this as my livelihood and don't want to be sued and want to make sure I am compliant with what rules need to be followed to have a fresh copy of Win 10 or 11 on a used laptop for resale. Any help would be much appreci

    It's not about getting caught actually it's about doing what right

    in my country nearly everyone using Pirated license i thought i could make it easy for them and provide for them a legal copy as i read in ebay

    so if i did really buy this Activation for personal use no problem but to resell it it's illegal ?

    my question here is it legal to buy from eBay any Microsoft Key to activate Microsoft products and resell them or totally not legal ?

    No, it's not legal - and chances are any "key" offered on eBay isn't legal (legitimate) either.
