Windows 10: reserve windows 10 icon not appearing

hello I am using a windows 10 insider build pc and I want to reserve my windows 10 but I does not appear. how do I fix this

Update for the engineering team:

After a round of uninstalling and reinstalling the two required updates (KB2976978 and KB3035583), it seems to have finally decided to move on, but still doesn't work. Apparently, the packages
need to have been in a state where the diagnostic tool reads "has not been run" at which point a restart of Windows (or two) will magically "run" the update. Please try this out on your testbeds and see
if it works similarly.

My new problem: Everything checks out and the icon still doesn't want to show. The diagnostic drops the following message on me, and clicking "Next" followed by "View detailed information" gives the report
seen in Notepad.



I am completely baffled that all the requirements would be met and it would still refuse to run. Yes, I have restarted. I've also gone directly into C:\Windows\System32\GWX, and tried running GWX.exe, GWXUX.exe, GWXUXWorker.exe, and GWXDetector.exe all manually,
but the app just doesn't seem to want to start. What might be the problem?

 

Windows 10 Reserve icon is not appearing

This is the laptop I am using:

It is running on Windows 8.1 currently.

I have made sure that updates are automatic and all up to date. Still no windows icon showing up...

You won't get the invitation from within W10TP, you may get it on W7 or W8.1 provided you have the proper updates.
