    Reserved Storage bug after windows update


    Hi,A little while ago, I had a windows update that failed. After this failed update, my pc did not boot anymore and after some digging, I found out that this was probably due to a 100% full drive I can boot it now but my Windows is screwed but I will be able to fix that. Which was odd since I had over 450GB of storage left. With the DiskGenius utility, I found out that this was still the case, although all other hard drive utilities i.e. EaseUs also indicated a 100% full drive. I took the SSD drive out of my PC and hooked it up to my laptop and after some more digging, I found out that my

    So you can see it can be disabled, and is not necessarily a fixed 7Gb. But of course we don't have the final release yet- that's expected in May.

    are you sure that the reserved storage feature is enabled?

    is this a new machine? or have you clean installed windows 10 1003 or later?

    check in settings -> system -> storage

    click on show more categories

    click on system & reserved

    is reserved storage in the list?

    check settings -> system -> about

    under windows specifications

    what version is installed?
