Windows 10: Reset but keep all personal files - all files lost.

Discus and support Reset but keep all personal files - all files lost. in Windows 10 Installation and Upgrade to solve the problem; I was having trouble with being signed in to a temporary account so in the windows boot recovery I chose to reset my PC keeping all my personal files....     Reset but keep all personal files - all files lost.


    I was having trouble with being signed in to a temporary account so in the windows boot recovery I chose to reset my PC keeping all my personal files. 20 mins later however, I return to find my pc reset - and none of my files are there. Literally the only stuff left was a few dead shortcuts on the desktop. I've tried file recovery software and none of my personal files have come up - only a few game textures etc.


    Obviously there's nothing I can do now, but this is really annoying and why did this happen?

    File Lost!!

    I had that happen once where I lost a file that was too big to recover, and I couldn't find a utility that could do it, either . . .

    I ended up having to take the HDD to CompUSA and have them retrieve the lost info *Eek! Reset but keep all personal files - all files lost. :eek:

    File Lost!!

    I am in deep shit, I lost a File on accident that my father had been working on for 3 months *Bang Head :banghead:and its been emptyed from the recycle bin*Bang Head :banghead:*Bang Head :banghead:. I have done system restore point as far back as I could go but the file still did not apear in the documents folder. I have download several Recovery tools and none of them can find it. Surely someone here know of someway or some mircle programe that can recover it. Please anyone help.*Cry :cry:
