    Reset drive while enforcing bitlocker encryption


    Dear all,I have had a brand new laptop which is bitlocker encrypted "device mode" as most windows users I guess. I want to return the laptop within the 2 weeks return policy as it does not fully match my needs. This laptop contains professional files though which I do not want anyone to have access to.The device is bitlocker encrypted but all of the factory reset methods I have access to tell me that the BDE Bitlocker Device Encryption will be automatically unlocked as a result of the factory reset. Will this leave my professional data accessible to the next buyer of my laptop? How can I k
