Windows 10: Reset error

    Reset error


    Recently got a hard drive from a friend with windows 10 on it, the friend is now gone but the password still on it, I have no clue what it is.I tried to reset it from the lock screen, but every time I did it would say “there was a error resetting” and I can’t find a way to reset it.

    Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

    RAID 0 Error

    I did what you suggested and I got a boot media error telling me to insert a OS disk. I removed them from RAID, installed vista again and ran some diagnostics on the now individual drives and all programs (Speedfan, Seatools, Everest etc) listed the drives as healthy and up to spec in terms of performance.

    Sorry for the late reply, ive been reinstalling all my software etc.
    Just wanted to conclude the thread, thanks for all your suggestions guys.

    Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
