  1. Reset my ARM64-based Windows laptop, coming up as unactivated Enterprise edition

I needed to reset my copy of Windows 11 on an ARM64-based laptop Samsung Galaxy Book Go. I selected to delete all files and re-install locally. During the initial setup wizard, there was never any opportunity given to enter which edition of Windows to attempt to activate. After setup was complete, I ended up with a system which claimed to be Windows 11 Enterprise without a valid activation.I tried repeatedly going through the activation troubleshooter and it said that it couldn't automatically resolve the issue. I tried signing in to my Microsoft Online account, and it said that it couldn't

Downgrading Windows 10 enterprise to pro

The procedure is a bit arcane, but I have managed to convert an Enterprise Evaluation to Pro, doing it in two steps: EnterpriseEval to Enterprise (unactivated); then Enterprise (unactivated) to Pro. Details here.

(Note to the moderator/owner: apologies if this is not an appropriate post for this thread, in which case I thank you for deleting it. I posted only to update/correct the assertion quoted above.)
