Windows 10: Reset network adaptor and Wi-Fi adaptor does not function anymore

I had some problems connecting to a new network, so I tried reseting the network adaptors. However, after that my Wi-Fi does not work anymore, the button for Wi-Fi I don't know how it's called i'm sorry disappeared.When I troubleshoot it, it was described as - "problem with the driver for the Wi-Fi adaptor".- Windows couldn't automatically bind the IP protocol stack to the network adaptor.My laptop has:- Windows 11 Home Insider Preview - Version Dev OS Build 22543.1000- Network adaptor Wi-Fi driver: Qualcomm R Wi-Fi B/G/N/AC 2x2I have tried:- restart my computer- reset my network adapt

Activate USB network adaptor

I have bought and installed a USB network adaptor which has an aerial for better wi-fi reception. How do I tell the computer to use this one? I tried disabling the on-board adaptor but the computer then tells me no network access because there's no adaptor.

The device manager tells me the new adaptor is installed and working properly. Help?

 

Resetting Network Adaptor

A question that was asked before but wasn't answered properly.
How do I RESET my network adaptor? I don't want to uninstall and reinstall. I just want to reset. When I get the little exclamation mark on my WiFi signal connection, 9 times out of 10 it just does a network adaptor reset. 99 times out of 100, I can
fix it by pulling out the adaptor and reinserting it. Sometimes there will be a connection, but it would be slow and pulling out and reinserting the adaptor has helped. Is there a way of resetting that is as easy as
right click on the WiFi signal and selecting an option of "Reset Network Adaptor" (ideal world but this is Microsoft so nothing could be that easy)? Is it possible that someone could please suggest to someone about
installing such an option?
