    Reset Protection Question

Hi Microsoft Team,I am looking to delete an old Microsoft account not the one I am currently using to make this post that I don't use anymore. It gave the warning before deleting saying to turn off Reset Protection.1. Is the Reset Protection it is referring to SOLELY for PHONE devices? Or does it apply to Desktops as well?2. If it is for Desktop PCs, how do I ensure it is turned off? It kept bringing me to the Devices page of the account, which I removed any and all devices from it which was just my old desktop and I don't believe it had anything to do with this desktop.I never even logged

    :)

  2. Reset Protection Notification

    Hi Team,

I reset my Microsoft Lumia 650 device ( Hard Reset ), and trying to configure freshly.

After the WiFi Configuration is done, the system is prompting with "Reset Protection Notification" and I am not able to proceed further.

Contacted B2X Team, Microsoft Support Team and found no resolution.

    What I did:

    • Hard Reset my Mobile Device (It went Successfully)
    • Microsoft (Initial) screen displays and started new configuration
    • Selected the Country and the Time Zone
    • Configured the WiFi Connectivity (Successful)
    • Reset Protection Notification.
Here in this step, I tried to log in with my Microsoft Account, unable to do so on Mobile, but able to log in successfully on my Laptop

Request any one of you, please suggest to overcome this issue.

    Regards,

    Sridhar.J
