Windows 10: reset stuck at 42%

    Factory reset stuck in 42%

    I am trying to reset my laptop to as if it is newly bought. On reset option I've choose to delete all files and apps installed. I don't have any error message except that I am getting stuck in 42%. The dots on top on reset pc is still working but I am
    not sure if it is worth to wait.

    Windows factory reset stuck on 42% after removing usb mouse, I guess I wasn't thinking but after I began the factory reset, I saw I still had the mouse plugged in so I removed it while the reset was happening. Now it's stuck on 42%. How long until I should
    do something, I have missed an entire day of work bc of this.

    1803 update stuck at %42

    It stucks during the main install process which is after reboot. I left the pc open and went to sleep, after about 7 hours it was at %42, the spinning circle was also frozen.
