Windows 10: Reset Windows Hello Pin

Dear Windows community. Starting today chrome wants my Windows Pin when trying to show my passwords in a windows 10 system. Thing is: i do not have a pin. I login via password. I specifically deactivated the requirement for a pin. The option to change the pin is not availiable either. Under the account settings its saying that the option for the windows hello pin is not availiable at the moment. Why the f... does a system which should recieve no more updates as stated by microsoft themselves change? I did not have to fill out a pin for years.... How do i recover the system ? I do not want a pi

• Click the Add button for the PIN and set your PIN.
• Do the same for the Windows Hello.

1. Reset the Windows Biometrics Service:
   
   Stop biometric service:
   
   • Press Windows + R at the same time to open the Run dialog box and type services.msc.
     
   • Select 'Windows Biometrics Service'.
     
   • Right-click the service and select Stop from the list that appears.
     
   
   Back up the previous database:
   
   • Open Windows Explorer.
     
   • Go to
     
     
   • Copy and paste the .dat file into the newly created folder.
     
   Deleting the old database:
   
   • Open Windows Explorer.
     
   • Go to
     
     
   • Delete the .dat file.
     
   
   Start the biometric service:
   
   • Press Windows + R simultaneously to open the Run dialog box and type services.msc.
     
   • Select 'Windows Biometrics Service'.
     
   • Right-click on it and select Start from the list that appears.
     
   
   2. Delete the NGC folder
   
   • Search for 'cmd' in the start menu
     
   • Run 'Command Prompt' as administrator and enter the following command:
     
   • Navigate to the path below and delete all the contents of this folder.
     
   3. Try resetting the Pin: you can try resetting Windows Hello to see if that resolves the problem. To do this, go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options > Windows Hello (PIN) > Remove. After removing the Windows Hello PIN, restart your computer and set up a new PIN.

Can't reset Windows Hello Pin and can't find Ngc folder

2. Reset PIN via Safe Mode: If the problem persists after rebooting, you can try to reset your PIN by entering Safe Mode. To enter Safe Mode, you'll need to restart your computer, depending on your computer brand, maybe another key, select "Safe Mode" and follow the prompts.
   
3. Sign in with a local account: If you can't sign in with your Microsoft account, you can switch to a local account sign-in and try setting up or resetting your Windows Hello PIN again.
