resetting my dell pc from windows, using the remove everything and clean disk. Im stuck at 99% have been for 30 hours. is this too long and what should I do from here if it is. Much patience I have.

Can't safely remove external disk

In reference to the steps of your suggestions:

• The issue is specific to the particular disk and it started after I've used the disk to save the System image backup (created with the Control Panel > File History tool).
• I didn't disable any windows Service. I'm just wondering if there is any to disable.
• Safe boot with networking, or clean boot doesn't resolve the issue.

Still researching removing Dell from PC

I removed Dell programs from my PC, the removal left many files and registry entries. and wish to remove files to regain disk space and also clean up registry.

Windows failed to reset and it removed windows drive

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to Reset the computer using Windows 10 ISO and check if it helps.

• Go to the Microsoft software download website and create Windows 10
  installation media.
• Insert the installation media you created, and then restart your PC.
• On the Install Windows screen, select Troubleshoot.
• In the troubleshoot screen, click on Reset this PC.
• Select the desired option and follow the steps to Reset the PC and check for status.
