Windows 10: Resetting Edge browser!

Hi, over the last few weeks I have had various problems with the Edge browser. It was suggested I try the Beta version app which I have done. I find it a lot better and even quicker opening etc. The problem with both versions I can't "Reset" in settings! If I press the reset button nothing happens. If I go into "Apps and features" I can Modify the Beta version but the official build Edge is greyed out! For awhile now I have thought of doing a "In place reinstall" maybe that is the answer!Done all the usual checks including Scannow. Always updating and doing maintenance etcAny thoughts on this

Site links not working in Chrome or Edge

Have you tried resetting your browser? If not, we suggest you to do so. To reset Edge, follow these steps:

  Browser Settings.

  Clear
  Browser Data.
  
• 
  Close the browser and launch it again.
  

If the issue persist, follow these other steps:

  Go to
  Task Manager.
  
• 
  Click on
  MicrosoftedgeCP.exe
  
• 
  End the task.

Method 1:

I suggest you to clear the cache and cookies from Microsoft Edge and check. Follow the steps provided below:

• 
  Open Microsoft Edge.
  
• 
  Go to Settings.
  
• 
  Under Clear browsing data, click on Choose what to clear.
  
• 
  Select the options and click on Clear button.
  

I suggest you to reset Internet Explorer on your computer and check. Resetting Internet Explorer shall effect the behavior of Microsoft Edge browser.
