Resetting password via net user caused windows hello to stop HiI had to reset my password using net user command as I forgot the old one while being able to access PC using windows hello. Now, all windows hello features are not working anymore. There are two messages 1 this option is currently unavailable. 2 something went wrong please try again later.I looked online and tried some suggested solutions. Like removing drivers and checking windows system files integrity, nothing worked.I created a new test user; in that profile all the features are working there normally. So, it is not a h

Step 1:

I suggest you to reset the Microsoft account password.

If the issue persist, follow the below step.

Step 2:

Let us try to enable the built in administrator account and try to create a new user account and transfer all the user profile data of the old account.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Press and hold on the Shift Key from the Windows sign in screen and click on Restart.
  
• 
  Follow the path Troubleshoot> Advanced Options > Start Up settings.
  
• 
  Click on Restart.
  
• 
  Choose Enable Safe Mode with
  Command Prompt.
  
• 
  At the command prompt, type net user administrator /active:yes, and then press Enter.
  
• 
  Type net user administrator <Password>, and then press Enter.
  

Note: In this command,
<Password> represents the actual password that you want to set for the administrator account.

  Type exit, and then press Enter.
  
• 
  Log off the current user account.
  

Note: type net user administrator /active:no, to disable the
Built-in Administrator after adding the Microsoft account.
