Windows 10: Resetting taskbar search box via Solution 6

I'm trying to reset my W10 taskbar search. Everything works otherwise -- search in Explorer and the taskbar search works in a new user account. The fix is: Solution 6: Regenerate the Microsoft.Windows.Search package AppData folderSee https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/windows-client/shell-experience/fix-problems-in-windows-search My main question: how to delete %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.Search_cw5n1h2txyewy folder when it appears to be in use?Any clarifications about solution 6 would be useful!The instructions for Solution 6 are confusing. Search box on taskbar missing.

This issue with search box may happen if it's hidden from the taskbar.

To resolve the issue, follow the steps below:

• Right-click on the taskbar and select Search.
• Select Show search box.

Please try the below and check if you can see search bar on taskbar:

Steps:

• Right click on Taskbar, move the mouse cursor on to
  Search option.
• Select Show Search icon (You will see Search icon beside Start)
• Select Show search bar (You will see Search bar beside Start)
