Windows 10: resetting windows 10

I just tried to reset my windows 10 pc and got to a page wihich said something like, 'your pc has been reset but we weren't able to remove all your personal files, if you are selling the pc please try resetting again' There was a little box with 'got it' there which I assume I had to click. Unfortunately, there was no pointer on the screen to click and no way of confirming I had 'got it'.

I swithed the pc off and on again but it went to the same screen with the 'got it' button.

The only thing that worked was pressing 'esc' during boot to access the Startup Menu. I've tried clicking on all the options there but then it just tells me an operating system wasn't detected.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. This was a windows 7 pc upgraded to 10 for free a couple of years back.

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
