Windows 10: Resetting windows gives me black screen then does nothing

I tried resetting my desktop with the removing all files option, on both my drives, and all it does after the percent getting ready screen is go black for multiple hours (when it is supposed to show resetting%), and then many hours later just turns back on and says "there was a problem resetting your pc" "no changes were made", and everything is the same. When the screen is black, the pc is still running. I did this multiple times, all to no luck. Help?

Sounds like the old... windows black screen of death.

Try this quoted from "VisiHow" article "Repair Windows 7 Black Screen of Death":

Google search and you will find a lot of the "Windows Black Screen of Death with cursor" fixes.
