Windows 10: Resolving Error Code 0x80072EE2

Hello,


i just bought a brand new Acer nitro 5 laptop.

Got it started up for the first time, did all the usual setups, however when i try to activate windows 10 home i get the error code 0x80072EE2.

I tried troubleshooting it afterwards but its not working.

Acer Laptops have the windows key installed inside which means i don't have a physical copy of the numbers.

What can i do to fix it? i haven't changed any hardware or software.

I keep receiving this error code: 0x80072ee2 "error description is: your internet connection timed out. please reconnect to the internet, then try again."and what doesn't make sense is the fact that I have full strength and clear internet connection. Can
someone help me resolve this situation?
