Windows 10: Respondus lockdown browser - stuck on step 6 - camera not detected

I am trying to use respondus lockdown browser however Everytime I try to, on step 6 when entering respondus my web cam will light up and then turn off , then nothing happens. All previous steps detect my camera just fine and my camera is easily detected in the help center of respondus browser. I have contacted their support and followed all of their suggestions, viewed my privacy settings for my camera and microphone, uninstalled and reinstalled both respondus and my camera app, I deleted teams from my computer completely, I checked my anti virus settings, restarted my computer, cleared cache

Respondus Lockdown Browser

I cannot get respondus lockdown browser to install on my computer. It keeps comming back with a default error. When I click on it , stops installing the program. This is a lock down browser for taking test online. I am running windows 10 upgrade from windows
8. Now running windows 10 home version. The computer is a HP> laptop

Can't install Respondus Lockdown browser

Hi,

After successful download of Respondus Lockdown browser and clicking on open the file, it can't install without notifying anything. I have tried to turn off firewall defender and antivirus software, but it can't help.

My window version: Windows 10 Home Single Language
