    Restart and no display

My pc was doing windows update (cumulative update)

Windows asked to restart to install the update and when it did restart there is no display after it booted up (the way that i know that my pc is working is i opend a game and obviously i know where shortcut its literally top left and the game opend)

So i pressed the shutdown and starting it again a couple of times and still no display

But the only way that made it work that i turned off the power for my pc and now it can't start and waited a little bit and start it back and now there is a display

And i did restart again to see if the problem is still there and its still there Restart and no display :(

    Windows 10 64bit 2004 20h2

And my English is bad Restart and no display :)

    Restart and no display

    Projecting to an external display

    Hi,

Thank you for posting your query in Windows 10.

I understand that you are unable to use external display with windows 10.

This usually occurs if the video driver was not installed properly or not configured correctly.so I would suggest you to reinstall the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and see if it helps:

    Uninstall Display Adapter drivers

I suggest you to uninstall the display drivers and reinstall them in compatibility mode.

To uninstall the driver, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R
    • Type devmgmt.msc
    • Right click on the driver you want to uninstall
    • Click on Uninstall
    • Restart the system
After the computer restarts, install the driver in compatibility mode.

    • Select the setup file
    • Right click on it and click on
      properties
    • Click on Compatibility tab
