  1. Restart application when background auto changes

I have set my current background mode to slideshow. Every 5 minutes the background changes to a random image in a folder. 2. Restart application when background auto changes

I have set my current background mode to slideshow. Every 5 minutes the background changes to a random image in a folder.

However, I am using a rainmeter widget that depends on the background to be visible (the blur is generated off the background), and when the background changes, most of the time it is extremely off color as it is still based on the previous background.

The only way to make the blur work again is to restart the app. So right now I am trying to restart rainmeter whenever my background changes.

I have tried task scheduler but I cannot find the event for when the background changes in event viewer.

    Any ideas what to try?

  3. auto trivia restart script?

I know everyone is so busy here so I'm suggesting an auto restart script so trivia is a benefit instead of a burden. Can anyone make this script?

    Background applications

    Hi Robert,

We understand that you don't want some apps to run on the background of your computer. What we suggest is to
control which apps are allowed to run in the background. To see which apps have permission, just follow the below steps:

    • Open the Start menu or Start screen and select “Settings.”
    • Click or tap the “Privacy” icon in the Settings.
    • Scroll down to the bottom of the list and select “Background apps.”
    • You’ll see a list of apps that have permission to run in the background with an “On/Off” toggle.
Just bear in mind that, apps normally run in the background to update their live tiles, download new data, and receive notifications. If you want an app to continue performing these functions, you should allow it to continue running in
    the background.

Feel free to update us with the results.
