    Restart Manager says a file is locked, rebooting shows no title for the reason could be...


    When uninstalling an MSI Restart manager says a critical application holds file in use so a reboot is necessary, but checking file handles shows nothing of the uninstalled msi is being locked and all files are already wiped. After reboot the Event Viewer Log shows "The process msiexec.exe has initiated the restart of computer [ComputerNameHere] on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: No title for this reason could be found".I have not being able to find what file is being locked and it seems there isn't any file actually being locked since the related files are wiped

    syncbackfree error, says file is locked, f manager shows empty folder?

    why is this file not appearing in file manager?
    syncbackfree shows it's name with a backup error
    What's going on here? Dont like this strange issue.

    cmd dir shows folder empty, so what is going on with it?

    File manager is set to show hidden files.
    Has windows done something to this file like to prevent anyone from ever being able to see it is there, even though the backup program can see it?

    It has no errors, I run a chkdsk /scan frequently which just looks for file system errors.

    I discovered more info about this file. It is a password protected self extracting zip file I downloaded months ago.
    I used to know the password, but who knows what it is now. Maybe I can figure it out.

    I marked solved as I think since it is password locked, there seems to be some issue with backing it up. I dont really get it, as it is just a file, but I did tell sync program to compress all the files that were being backed up and maybe that is why it errors. There is a compressed file of this file backed up in the 2backup folder so it did back it up.
