Windows 10: restart take more time than usual

Hello.I notice the lats two weeks that a regular restart without any windows update takes more time than usual.It takes about 2 minutes when in the past it took a few seconds if I remember correctly.Ι do not know is any connetcion with 24H2 that recently installed

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

Windows 10 fails to keep proper time, usually off by 12 - 15 hours

Considering that you've already performed some troubleshooting steps and issue still persists, we would like to know if you've made any changes prior to the issue?

In the meantime, we suggest checking if the Windows Time service is properly running. Kindly follow the steps below (You can skip this steps if you've already tried it):

  Open Cortana and type services.msc then, click
  Enter.

  Look for the Windows Time and
  double-click it.
  
• 
  Beside Service status, check if it is Running.
  
• 
  If it is not yet running, kindly click the
  Start button.
  
• 
  If the service is already running, click the
  Stop button then, click Start to refresh its settings.

  Restart the computer and check if date and time is properly set up.
  

If you've other accounts on the computer, we would also suggest that you check if the same issue is happening on it. This will help us isolate if the issue is within the system or the BIOS.



If same issue will persists on other accounts, we would recommend contacting your motherboard's manufacturer to perform a hardware diagnostics and ask assistance for possible CMOS battery replacement.
