Windows 10: Restarting after system restore -How long?

I stupidly decided to restart while windows was installing updates. It wasn't showing a percentage, but was enough to cause system errors.As I was unable to start windows I decided to do a system repair. As the first restore point was unsuccessful, I decided on the second one. This was successful, but it took so long and was hanging on the restart after successful restore, so I turned it off.I'm now on my second successful system restore using the third restore point down. It went through the whole restore process in about 3 hours and then restarted to boot windows again.I know the first boot

• What was the exact issue that you were facing that lead to perform restore?
• Did you receive any error message, when the system restore got stuck?
• Did you install any third party security application?

Since the computer is being stuck, I suggest you to restart the computer and try to perform the restore again and check if it helps.

I also suggest you to provide more information regarding the issue which led to perform system restore along with the make and model of the computer.

Windows 10, Will not restart after System Restore.

I suggest you to perform a Power drain by following the steps provided below:

• Shut down the Computer.
• Remove all power source (including battery if it is a laptop).
• Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds.
• Connect the power source and start the computer.

If the issue still persists,

Check if the system boots to Safe mode using the ISO by following the steps below:

• Insert the installation media you created, and then restart your PC.
• On the Install Windows screen, select Repair your computer. (If you’re not seeing this screen, your PC might not be set up to boot from a drive. Check your PC manufacturer's website for info on how to boot from media,
  and then try again.)
• On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot. From there, you can use Safe Mode. Select
  Advanced Options > Startup Settings > Restart.
• After your PC restarts, select 5 or F5 to restart you PC in Safe Mode with Networking. If your PC won’t start in Safe Mode with Networking, try steps 2-4 again, and then, after your PC restarts, select 3 or F3 to
  Enable low-resolution video.
