Windows 10: Restarting Windows 10 Feature 2004 upgrade from Feature 1909 after fixing 0xC1900101 old...

After the second try from Settings --> Windows Update to Feature 2004 on Windows 10 Pro x64 Feature 1909, Windows Update no longer offers the update to Feature 2004! I found after the second 0xC1900101 Driver Compatibility issue from our old USB-attached IBM Enhanced Keyboard, I replaced the keyboard with a normal Lenovo/IBM USB keyboard without the "enhanced buttons" across the top. This "new" keyboard uses the normal HID device drivers from Windows 10, so this issue should no longer be present. The problem is that I would like to RESTART the failed update with over 9 GigaBytes of data in the Software Distribution "Download" subdirectory, I have NO desire to download the Feature 2004 files 3-4 Gigabytes at least I suspect again! The Update Assistant is now offering ONLY Feature 2009 which I do not want presently. I expect that I could use the Feature 2004 Media Creation Tool to download and create an Upgrade Feature 2004 USB drive, BUT I REALLY WANT TO AVOID THIS even as an experienced IT person 9+ years with Microsoft Windows operating systems. It was unfortunate that the Feature 2004 log file that indicated the keyboard driver problem wasn't caught after the unexpected first try that was accidentally kicked of by my spouse. By the time I realized that Feature 2004 was again installing, it was too late, and my investigation using C:\$WINDOWS.~BT\Sources\Rollback\setupapi\setupapi.dev.log that pointed to the Enhanced Keyboard Driver failure was for naught. It's unfortunate as those "enhanced" keys were never really used!

So, it anyone knows of a Registry edit, etc. I'm in the Windows Registry nearly EVERY workday! that will get Windows Update to "re-offer" the Feature 2004 upgrade, I'd really appreciate it.

0xC1900101 - 0x30018 Windows 10 upgraded from 1909 to 2004 error code

If these are one of your code. I have successfully upgraded from Windows 10 Pro v1909 to v2004 as the error has been resolved. Microsoft techicial guy has spend hours try to resolved mine via CMD fixes but no successfully. I have spend hours trying to think
what should I do to avoid rollback to 1909 when upgraded stuck at 60% during final set up.

What I did to resolved this is doing this step:

Download Windows 10 v2004 here: Download Windows 10 via download tool now. Saved that ISO on your desktop.

Go to control panel, programs, under programs and features click turn windows features on or off (disabled all of it and apply ok) reboot pc

Click ISO to open in windows explorer and click setup

It's will installing your windows 10 2004 upgraded and wait until it completed successful.

When it all done and your windows 2004 has successful upgraded from 1909 go back to control panel, programs, under programs and features click turn windows features on or off (enabled some of it if you need it or all of it and apply ok) and reboot pc.

All done!

The main issues failed with 0xC1900101 - 0x30018 Windows 10 upgraded from 1909 to 2004 was caused by Windows Features was enabled.

Hi, I've been trying to install the Windows 10 2004 several times already, but when it reboots it just keeps loading something for a while and then the PC boots back into 1909 without any error message. After checking the event viewer, it says "Installation
Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0xC1900101: Feature update to Windows 10, version 2004."
