Windows 10: Restore point - Are downloaded files saved?

Downloaded files count as personal files right? Like documents, pictures, etc. and won't be removed? I don't mean games that are put into directories, just downloaded files in general. Will they be kept?

where is the "System Restore Points" saved?

Zhao, system restore points are stored in a hidden system folder called 'System Volume Information' on the root of the C drive

You need to show hidden files and system files to be able to see this folder, you will not be able to access it and will not be able to see a list of restore points even if you could access it, due to the way restore points are saved to disk

The only way to manage restore points has already been explained to in previous replies . . .

 

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.
