Windows 10: Restore point not working. (0x80070005)

Restore point not working. (0x80070005). Tried turning off all virus protection, but restore still not successful.

Can't create a Restore Point.

When I try to create a restore point, the program starts but then stops with the error "Access Denied (0x80070005)". However, when I create a restore point as a different user (also an administrator), it works fine. Suggested solution?

So I try to restore any point and get an error:





I have turned off Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware.

I also did a sfc /scannow with no integrity violations.

Running Windows 10 Pro 64bit... Any suggestions?

 

Highly frustrated from not succeeding in System Restore Error 0x80070005

since I built up my laptop, a Lenovo W540, with new Win10 1803 build 17134.48 build, I realized the machine is not able to restore from a selected restore point.

I tried several solutions but anyone worked for me.

The error message I got every time I try a restore for a restore point (I crated systematically before)

I am quite frustrated not to say desperate also because Win10 installation is reaaly brand new !

It’s driving me crazy !
