Windows 10: Restore Point on Windows10 with DualBoot stay forever in the restore panel

I have a pc with windows 10 and Linux mint. I made some changes on my windows 10, but because I didn't like it, I tried to use a restore point that wassaved especially for this occasion. I made the procedure and everythingwas apparently okay, but after one day the restore point panel continues on the same point, "restoring the registry...".

This wasn't the first time that some process takes too long and didn't finish. Before that, I tried to usea program called MiniTool Power Data Recovery. Again everything was fine until it stuck on something like this:

Even before that when I made a Windows 10 Update, it freezes completely, but the difference was that time it works, so I didn't take so much attention.


I heard it can be because of dualboot, but what i found was more about a windows 10 & 7 boot, and restore point being missing, than something about a linux mint dualboot. Can someone help me with this problem?

Turn off system restore in XP altogether...or if you dont want to, AsRocks suggestion should work :\

well i found out wich program was eraseing my restore points it was acronis true image 10 so i disabled system restore becouse i rether use ati any way

Mussels did not fail, those two are answers are very common with what you are describing. You can try to go back to a system restore point located in the help folder in control panel. Have you created any recent restore points?
