Windows 10: Restore user account

Can I get help restoring a user account? the folder is in the users folder and I can see the user when I type netplwizard in the windows + R command but I can't log into it. tried asking microsoft support however it took me 15 minutes to explain to the first person I was asking about a local windows 10 account when they kept thinking I was asking about my microsoft account and the second person said that it wasn't possible even though it clearly is :/ also there was this suggestion of regedit i found on the internet that didn't work either though I just found that the account I'm trying to res

Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

 

Restore deleted user account

Hi,

It's possible that your main account is disabled (not deleted), follow these steps to activate your main account:

• Press the Windows logo key + X and then select "Command Prompt (Admin)",
• Type the following command, replace "mufaa" with the name of your main account:
  net user mufaa /active:yes.

Welcome to Microsoft Community. Your interest in Windows 10 is much appreciated.

I would suggest you to login to the built-in admin account and check:

1.Click on Start icon and select Command Prompt run as administrator there.

2.Accept the UAC prompt.

3. Enter the following command to enable the hidden administrator account:
net user administrator /active:yes

Note: To disable the account follow the instructions :
net user administrator /active:no

If you can log into the Default Administrator account, follow these steps to perform System Restore:



a.
On the desktop, press Windows key + R to open a Run Dialog.

b. Type
%systemroot%\system32\rstrui.exe.

c. Press
Enter and select a restore point before the account got deleted.



Check if the account is restored.

However the UAC prompt asks fro the administrator password, which doesn't exist so I cannot progress past step 2. The forums have no means of passing this step either., but thanks anyway.
