Windows 10: Restore Windows 11Pro 24H2 settings

I recently installed Omnissa Horizon client to my notebook in order to remote to my company PC. The idle timer kept kicking me off every 30 minutes, my company told me it was something on my end. I was looking at the Omnissa, Horizon Client Windows Optimizer on their website and accidentally allowed changes. How do I restore my notebook? And also the idle timer still kicks me off. This is all very frustrating. I just purchased this notebook in January, My company switched to Omnissa from Cisco in February. I hope I didn’t damage my new purchase over this - any help would be appreciated. Tha

There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

System restore is handy when it works like it did for me 2 days ago saving the need to reinstall all of my software as well as windows, id suggest using norton Ghost 12 for an excellent system restore feature.

 

Restoring Windows 10 Image using Macrium Reflect


In addition to the above. Here's my suggestion in step by step.
I assume you have Macrium Installed in your current HD and already made a backup copy.

1. Connect your new HD via USB port and boot up.
2. Run Macrium, click on Restore tab then select the Backup Image that you made to restore
3. click on "select a different target disk" then select your new HD as destination
   
   
   
4. Proceed to restore then Shutdown and disconnect the old HD and replace with the new HD
5. Boot up with your new HD.
