  1. Restored Windows 10 from Windows 7 and now can't figure out how to make that "user" the default

I restored my Windows 7 backup to my Windows 10 computer. I checked the box asking the restore to place all the original files where they were. Windows created a separate user for my back up that is not the default. If I want to see my old desktop or find files I have to just open a file window to view the files. My music is not stored where itunes sees it, etc. I have no idea how to make my Windows 7 user my default. I've tried to google it but i can't find an answer to my specific problem.

    :)

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
