Windows 10: Restored Windows didn’t keep my files

    Restored Windows didn’t keep my files


    Hello, I come asking for help or just to know if it’s possible to recover my files.I restored windows previously had some issues with the windows antivirus and figured reinstalling it would be better with the “Keep my files” option, but once the process was done and I booted it up again.Not only were the folders empty, but my windows 10 had reverted to windows 8. The last security copy i had done is also gone with it appearing disabled.Is there any way to get my files back?

    Notification didn´t appear

    Windows 10 has ben released for 1 day and a half,and I didn´t get the notification for installing.I reserved it.Can anyone help me?

    PS I am running Windows 7 and it´s up to date.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help but... it didn`t work, I get the same error...

    I would like to try some more solutions before reinstalling the Windows, so if you can assist me a little bite more... Restored Windows didn’t keep my files :)... it would be highly appreciated.

    Restored Windows didn’t keep my files

    Windows XP PRO error after restore

    System restore is handy when it works like it did for me 2 days ago saving the need to reinstall all of my software as well as windows, id suggest using norton Ghost 12 for an excellent system restore feature.
