Windows 10: Restoring backed up files

I recently had to do a factory reset on my laptop. I backed up my files on a flash drive but when I try to restore them it asks me for a disk. There are no disks. How do I get my files back?

• Can you confirm that you are using Windows 10 and not Windows 7?
• Do you know what changes were made on your PC when it was sent for repair?
• How did you back-up your files?
• Can you describe the steps you have done in trying to restore your files?

Deleted file restore software.

I cant remember if it recovers old files OR leaves new files on the computer even after you do the restore. I havent used it in a while.

 

Backing up a ps3?

No drive A will not be already in fat32.
