Restoring machine using the Recovery Partition

I just bought an HP Pavillion 15 ab15nr laptop with windows 10 and messed up the install of my programs. The factory recovery partition is untouched and as far as I know intact. How do I go about returning the machine to its factory condition using the Recovery Partition and starting over again? Boy, I miss having a Win7 type installation disk.

    Thank you very much.

    :)

If your machine came with Windows 10, so there is a partition for recovery can be accessed but differ from vendor to another to restore to factory defaults

    Partitioned Hard Drive. Recovery Image

    Hi,

Your "Healthy (Recovery Partition)" with 17.58 Mb is probably 17.58GB... not MB...

This is a partition that is normally used to "Restore To Factory"...

The problem is that the process of upgrading to Win 10 makes it unusable in some machines...

The System Reserved is probably the EFI partition that newer machines use to launch the boot process...

You might want to check through any manuals available to figure out how to launch the "Restore To Factory" if that is what you are trying to do...

The are websites where you can download installation media if needed for MOST OS's...

Some are a bit hard to come by...

What exactly is your goal ?
