  1. Restoring restored items back to the bin if there's an easy way?

I accidentally restored a couple of hundred deleted files from the bin when I meant to restore just 1. Apart from quitting the program which I have, is there an easy way to find them and delete them again before google drive reuploads them? Otherwise I'll just go through the drive again and delete them. Windows 10 Home, 64 bit os.

    :)

Recycle Bin won't restore URL shortcut

Right clicking on it and then on restore worked. However selecting "Restore selected items" don't work. It brings up wanting you to get an app that opens a URL. I am not trying to open it. I was trying to restore it. Your suggestion to right click on it
and then on restore worked but shouldn't have to it that way. It should work by selecting from menu ribbon to restore the selected item as does for anything that is in the recycle bin. It just don't work on a shortcut in the recycle bin that is for a web address.
    This is a bug.

  3. Can't restore recycle bin items

    Hi all.

I have windows 11 on my desktop. For some strange reason all my desktop items and files have been deleted and moved to the recycle bin. If I try to restore them the computer restores them and immediately places them back in the bin and then I'm back at square 1. How can I fix this?

    Thanks a lot in advance.

Restoring restored items back to the bin if there's an easy way?

Is There a Way To Protect System Restore?

So I just got off trying to fix my dad's computer, for the 2nd time in a few months, because it has some kind of malware or trojan on it. The first thing I always go to to fix his system is system restore because he doesn't make many changes, if any at all, to windows, software, or basically anything system restore restores other than updating windows. But the last few times he's had various problems system restore, with either has it's restore points being deleted or restore won't even start up. So basically I really need help finding a way to either password protect system restore (preferably for free), get a 3rd restore program that won't get disabled by this malware crap, or any other alternative. I really appreciate any help you can give me because I've had this happen to a few computers that have come my way to fix and i wish there where a way to stop it.

Edit: Just found a program call Settings Lock (Settings Lock 2.7.0 (slarc.exe) Unix, Windows, Other Download) that I tested and it did successfully stop me from turning off system restore or changing it--but it's $25 and i'm not sure if restore could be turned off another other than my gui interface with that program so i'm still hoping to find something better or at least hear some more info about it.
