    Restoring Windows 10 Image using Macrium Reflect


    Thanks for all the help. I will be definatley creating another image on this system I just fixed and my other primary laptop now that I have this process down. Macrium is an awesome tool for sure and I will be using it to protect my environements. I have bee using AVG Free for the past 7-8 years in conjunction with Malwarebytes and never had an issue. I don't screw around on porn sites and don't click bogus links, I know better *Wink

    This is hte process I follow.

    Use Macrium you have installed to create rescue media, either CD or flash drive.
    Remove the old drive, install the new drive.
    Boot the rescue disc or flash drive. That way you get Windows Operating System out of the way.
    Restore the backup image to the new drive.
    Remove the rescue media then reboot.
    System should boot right up without problems.
